From Charles Barkley to Alex Morgan, the sports world responds to Texas school shooting

There are at least 18 children dead after a gunman opened fire at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

A gunman reportedly walked into Robb Elementary School and killed at least 18 children and three adults in what is now the largest school shooting in modern Texas history. Gov. Greg Abbott said the gunman was then killed by police on the scene.

Reactions to the horrific shooting were spread far and wide on social media, with many voices in sports — including Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr — responding to the tragedy. Here’s how the sports world at large has responded to this unconscionable loss of life.
