Tata Motors on Sunday said it has secured orders for more than 3,400 electric commercial vehicles (eCVs) across multiple segments, signalling a sharp acceleration in the adoption of zero-emission mobility solutions by businesses and public transport operators in India.
The country's largest commercial vehicle maker said the orders span a broad spectrum of applications, ranging from e-commerce and logistics to heavy industries such as cement, steel and mining, reflecting growing confidence among fleet operators in the viability of electric mobility beyond pilot projects.
