India's March quarter earnings season has thrown up an important signal beneath the market volatility and macro concerns weighing on equities this year. At least 50 listed companies swung from losses to profits in the fourth quarter of FY26, reflecting how large parts of corporate India are still seeing operational recovery despite a difficult external environment marked by rising crude oil prices, foreign investor selling and geopolitical uncertainty.
