Friends actress Bonnie Somerville has tied the knot with beau Dave McClain in a ranch wedding, gushing it's "never too late to find love".
The star, 49, who played Mona in the iconic sitcom between 2001 and 2002 met "the love of her life" on Bumble and confessed she never believed in soulmates until she met Dave weeks before the 2020 lockdown.
The pair said "I Do" in a romantic ceremony in California's Santa Susana Mountains on April 8. The beautiful Hummingbird Nest Ranch played home to the vows and ticked off the actress' need for a "rustic, farmhouse European outdoor vibe".
Speaking to People about the first time she connected with creative director Dave, Bonnie gushed: "I hadn't been on the app very long, and never checked in. I was shooting and was showing an actor how the dating apps work and I randomly saw a message that this guy used his one-time extension to meet me.
"There was 10 minutes left for me to reply. It was so random because had I not logged in to show my friend, I never would have met him! I saw his smile and said 'I'm gonna swipe for this guy!' We texted, then moved to an hour and a half call, then I got back to LA, we went out for our first date and that was that! I knew right away he was the one."
Discussing their special day, she revealed their first dance took place with a backing track playing a cover version of Umbrella by Ember Island.
She also admitted she thought marriage was going to pass her by and she had "made peace" at the thought of never finding true love.
Bonnie opened up on how she had "more appreciation for what it means" to find that special someone because of her age.
She revealed that Dave had been married previously, but the pair felt their engagement was "easy and right" following his proposal after eight months together.
Guests on their special day were said to have been treated to a wedding breakfast of filet mignon, pistachio, crusted halibut and a vegetable risotto.
Appetisers throughout the day also included mini tomato soup cups with grilled cheese sandwiches and a cocktail hour.
Bonnie's character Mona briefly dated David Schwimmer 's Ross Geller on Friends. She later starred on shows including NYPD Blue, Code Black and Blue Bloods.
