A friendly young dog is appealing for a new home.
Thunder is a three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier currently staying at Dogs Trust West Calder.
His carers say he is a playful young boy who loves to be on the go.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “A keen explorer, he enjoys his walks where he can sniff new smells and meet polite four-legged friends.
“He loves spending time in the garden where he can run around to his heart’s content.
“Happiest when in the company of his favourite people, he is always ready to play a game of fetch with you. Thunder loves being centre of attention and can’t resist a gentle ear scratch.
“A bundle of energy, Thunder would make an excellent companion for an active home who can take him on adventures and play together in a garden of his own.
“He would like to live with Staffie-lovers who would be confident in continuing his training and can offer him company and plenty of fuss as he settles into his new home.”

The centre is celebrating its foster carers throughout the summer and will be hosting a special event, Thank Dog its’ Fostering Friday, on Friday, August 12, from 2pm to 3.30pm, where prospective foster carers can learn how they can get involved in the charity’s successful Home from Home scheme.
