Animal welfare experts are appealing for a home for a friendly one-year-old foxhound currently staying at Dogs Trust West Calder.
Her carers say Maisie is a bundle of fun who loves to keep busy and is happiest when zooming around the garden with her soft toys.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Maisie is always up for a game of tug with her best human friends.
“A keen explorer, she looks forward to her daily walks and going on new adventures.
“She is a sweet girl who loves spending time with her favourite people.
“At the end of a busy day, she likes settling down with a long-lasting chew and curling up beside you for a tummy rub.
“Maisie is an affectionate dog who would love to live with a family who can give her lots of fuss and attention.
“She is a clever girl who enjoys learning new tricks and would like for her new owner to continue her training.
“Maisie would be a loving addition to an active home that has experience with high-energy breeds.”
