HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 43 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, of which 26 were in Hyderabad.
The current positivity rate is 0.3%. The total count of cases recorded so far in the state stand to 7,93,133. The death toll stands at 4,111 on Saturday, as no death was recorded for over two months now.
A total of 45 patients were declared recovered, taking the total tally of recoveries so far to 7,88,599. Currently there are 423 patients under treatment. The recovery rate stands at 99.43% while the fatality rate stands at 0.51%. On Saturday, a total of 11,984 samples were tested. Telangana has completed testing 3.49 crore samples and has reached 9.39 lakh sample testing per million population. “It is important to complete vaccination and adhere to precautions,” said officials.
