Road bosses are pushing for widespread 20mph zones across a busy city after a French student died in a horrific crash. Cyclist Emma Burke Newman was involved in a collision with a lorry.
Tributes have been paid to the 22-year-old, who had just begun her career as a designer and worked for an architecture firm. Her employer described Emma as a 'brilliant young woman' and will be 'missed by her family, friends and colleagues.'
The young woman was cycling near a city centre when the accident happened. And now further calls are being made to push ahead with introducing lower speed limits across the city, GlasgowLive reports.
