Nantes have "made a bid" for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba, according to a report.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper has told Forest he will not be signing a new contract, with his current deal set to expire next summer, although Forest say they want talks to continue. After three seasons at the club, he could leave this summer and a return to France is seemingly on the cards.
According to freelance journalist Pete O'Rourke, FC Nantes have "made a bid" for the play-off hero, who saved three penalties in the semi-final shootout against Sheffield United at the City Ground.

Samba has been at Forest since the summer of 2019, when he joined from Caen following their relegation from Ligue 1. He has made 133 appearances for the Reds, including 45 across all competitions last season. Forest remain determined to tie him down to a new deal and his strong relationship with head coach Steve Cooper could be a huge factor if he can be convinced to stay.
Nantes finished ninth in Ligue 1 last season and have a highly-rated goalkeeper in Albon Lafont, who is the club captain at the age of 23. According to reports, though, he has been offered to clubs - so Samba could be seen as his replacement.
