If your Freeview-powered TV isn't offering the usual crystal-clear picture then you are not alone. It appears that the current hot weather conditions being enjoyed across the UK is wreaking havoc with the signal Freeview uses to beam content into living rooms.
This is now the third week that users have faced serious disruption to their viewing due to a band of high pressure hovering above the country and it's going to last a little while longer.
In an update on its blog page, Freeview has confirmed that the current issues will affect viewers until Sunday, June 18.
"Freeview viewers across parts of the country could see some disruption to their TV reception between Tuesday 13th June and Sunday 18th June," Freeview explained. "This is due to high pressure which could disrupt the TV signals which Freeview uses."
Sadly, there's nothing that will stop the picture quality glitching and breaking up until the weather changes. There's also no point in trying to re-tune your TV. Once complete, which takes some time, you'll still have exactly the same problems as before.
"You are advised not to retune your TV during this time - reception will be restored once the high pressure passes," Freeview added.
So what can you do to carry on watching telly whilst the hot conditions continue?
One option is to switch over to Freeview Play with this service using your broadband to whizz content to the big screen.
This option is available on most smart TVs along with some streaming devices and not only offers live TV but also hours of on-demand shows and movies.
If your telly doesn't have this option don't panic as the Freeview app is also available for mobile and tablet devices.
