These new challenges can be access through the in-game Battlesphere, which brings the total number of challenges and modes available for players up to 20. The new mode also features two divisions with 17 deadly bosses each for Lilac, Carol, Milla, or Neera, to challenge in a marathon of speed and skill. Players who can win both boss divisions get to unlock access to a special in-game VIP room with Easter eggs for dedicated Freedom Planet fans.

The game is the long-awaited sequel to Freedom Planet and brings players back to the vibrant world of Avalice and join the fight against an ancient threat. It's set years after the events of the original game. The three heroines have managed to refine their signature abilities and thus making them even more formidable than ever before.
Players can take advantage of Lilac's speed with the use of Dragon Boost. Carol meanwhile can reach new heights with her Jump Disc. Then there's Milla, wo's excellent for those who prefer a measured approach, especially with here shield. That's not all since players also get to meet a new character with Neera. She's one who doesn't want to be left out in the cold and not afraid to use her Frost Arts to punish her enemies.
