Free festival to celebrate Ramadan coming to Liverpool's Pier Head

Liverpool’s Pier Head is set to welcome the return of Taste Ramadan, a free event launched to celebrate diversity in the city, next month.

The huge open-air Ramadan event at Liverpool’s waterfront is back by popular demand after launching for the first time in 2019. This year comedian Tez Ilyas, supported by local performers, will headline the event.

The event, from Liverpool Region Mosque Network, Liverpool Football Club Foundation and Liverpool City Council, will take place on Friday, April 8. Taste Ramadan is being co-designed and delivered by a youth steering group.
