It appears that the Miami Dolphins are narrowing down their list of free agent targets at the offensive tackle position after La’el Collins signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins are expected to meet with New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Terron Armstead on Monday.
Armstead, 30, has been the top tackle available during this free agency period, and Miami has a clear need at the position that he could fill. In his nine seasons with the Saints, he’s been named to the Pro Bowl three times and has been widely-considered one of the top guards in the league.
While Armstead reportedly has a number of suitors and will likely command top-dollar, there are questions about his health, as he’s missed 33 games in his last six seasons, including nine in 2021.
