- Freddy Brazier, the 22-year-old son of late Big Brother star Jade Goody and TV presenter Jeff Brazier, has revealed he stole money from his show budget to buy marijuana while filming BBC's Celebrity Race Across the World in 2024.
- Speaking on the Terry Stone Connection podcast, Brazier explained that he was in a poor mental state during filming and snuck out of his hotel window in Salvador, Brazil, on Mother's Day to purchase marijuana on the beach.
- Brazier admitted his actions were selfish and could have resulted in him and his father being disqualified from the series, where the pair ultimately finished in third place after travelling 12,500km to Chile.
- The TV personality also confessed to breaking a promise to his father by smoking marijuana the night before filming master interviews for the show, resulting in him attending the shoot exhausted and requiring heavy makeup.
- Brazier spoke candidly about his wider mental health struggles, sharing that he was sectioned at age 17 following drug-induced psychosis and has since been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder.
