Top Gear host Freddie Flintoff and comedian Jason Manford are joining forces for an unlikely adventure special.
Former cricketer Flintoff, 44, and Manford, 41, have landed the ITV show which will see the two Lancashire men go for a spot of camping.
In the one-off hour-long special called Two Men In A Tent, Freddie and Jason will have to pitch up on the side of Wales' highest peak; Mount Snowdon.
Despite their lack of survival skills, the show should appeal to viewers with larger-than-life Freddie and quick-witted Jason, who have both appeared on the West End, looking to keep themselves occupied on their travels.
A TV insider told The Sun: "Getting these two together is a no-brainer for ITV bosses, though the random challenge might leave a few viewers scratching their heads as neither have huge experience of surviving outdoors.
"Fortunately Freddie does have some experience of working closely with a comedian as he’s used to filming with Paddy McGuinness on Top Gear.
"Though he won’t have worked quite as closely as this before, as they will be sleeping centimetres away from each other on their jaunt in Wales."
Jason has teased fans about his trips to Snowdonia National Park with photos of his camping gear last month.
Freddie, who has not released any photos on his Instagram account, was not in photos as both men somehow found space to fulfil filming in their extremely busy schedules.
Freddie has been juggling hosting Top Gear with a BBC series called Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams, which is a three-part programme where he aims to create a new cricket team with an unlikely group of teens from his hometown of Preston.
He had also recently hosted The Games for ITV, where Jason was a judge on Stars In Their Eyes reboot Starstruck alongside Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight and Sheridan Smith.
Jason's Like Me tour starts at the end of August and he recently admitted that he goes on tour to gain some relief from his six children.
The comedian has four children with ex-wife Catherine; twin girls, a daughter and a son before he married second wife Lucy in 2017. The couple have two kids together.
Freddie has four kids himself, to add to his busy work balance, so both men may have enjoyed each other's company for the one-off show that is due to be aired later in the year.
