Freddie Flintoff has been airlifted to hospital after he suffered a car crash while filming for the BBC show Top Gear. The former England cricketer is said to have been at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey when the accident happened.
He is believed to have been injured while telling BBC cameras his opinion of the car he was driving for the show's review segment. Sources have said Freddie's condition is "not life-threatening", The Mirror reports.
Co-presenter Chris Harris was also at the track at the time the 45-year-old crashed. A source told The Sun: "Freddie is in hospital after a crash on Top Gear. He was driving on the track as normal. He wasn't going at high speeds - it was just an accident that could happen to anyone.

"All the usual health and safety measures were in place for filming too. Freddie was taken to hospital by air ambulance shortly afterwards. His injuries are not life-threatening and he is receiving treatment. Filming has been postponed for now and all anyone cares about is Freddie recovering."
A BBC spokesperson said: "Freddie was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning - with crew medics attending the scene immediately. He has been taken to hospital for further treatment and we will confirm more details in due course."
Freddie and Chris - who also present alongside Paddy McGuiness are currently filming for the latest series of the hit BBC One show. Paddy hit the headlines recently for getting in trouble with the BBC after breaking editorial guidelines with an ad campaign for clothes.
The TV star had posted on Instagram saying he was "test driving" outfits from outdoor range RevolutionRace. But the 48-year-old was ordered to change the wording of the promotion as it was deemed to make use of the motoring show's brand.
A BBC spokesperson said: "The words ‘test driving’ have now been removed to bring it into line with the editorial guidelines." According to a source, no further action will be taken against McGuiness and it will not affect his presenting duties on the programme.
