Fred has admitted he was hoping to see more game time at Manchester United this season.
The midfielder has played in 55 games for United in all competitions this term and could make it 56 in the FA Cup final against Manchester City on Saturday. However, he has started only 22 times under Erik ten Hag.
The 30-year-old has just a year left on his deal at United and MEN Sport understands intermediaries have proposed a possible move to Fulham as United look to recruit a younger midfielder. Fulham manager Marco Silva was filmed speaking with Fred outside Old Trafford on Sunday after United beat the Cottagers 2-1 in the final game of the league season.

United know they will need to sell players if they want to bring players in this summer, and Fred is one of the top candidates to leave Old Trafford. The midfielder believes he has played well this season but admits he was hoping for more game time.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, Fred said: "In terms of my own performance, I believe I’ve played well, although I wish I’d had more minutes on the pitch. Whenever I was on the field, I think I delivered what was expected from me to help the team succeed.
"The club’s performance has been good, but as players we dream big and always aspire to win important trophies. We know that last season our results were far from what we wanted. This season has been much better: we won the League Cup, we’re in the FA Cup final and we’ve been fighting for the top four in the Premier League.
"We’re conscious that we could have gone further in the Europa League but, all things considered, I’ve been happy with our season. I was over the moon with my first trophy at the club, which shows that our team is on the right path after years of reconstruction."
