Frantic appeal launched to trace missing Ayrshire woman last seen over a week ago

An appeal has been launched to help find a woman who has been missing for over a week.

Michelle Peacock, who is in her forties, was last seen in the Prestwick and Ayr area on June 8.

Police say that officers and her family are "concerned" for her wellbeing.

Michelle, who is known to often travel to Irvine, is described as white, 5ft 4in tall, with short, brown hair.

Ayrshire Police Division have urged anyone with any information on her whereabouts to get in touch.

A spokesperson for the local division said: "Police are appealing for assistance from the public to help trace Michelle Peacock, who has been missing from her home in the Prestwick and Ayr area since 8 June 2022.

"Michelle is described as white, in her forties, 5ft4 tall with short brown hair.

"She was last seen in the Prestwick and Ayr area on 8 June, and is known to travel to Irvine.

"Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing and wish Michelle or anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident number: PS-20220608-1808"
