Frankie Bridge opens up about Loose Women feuds and her fear of clashing with co-stars

Frankie Bridge has opened up about the rumoured feuds raging behind the scenes of Loose Women and has shared her concern that she would clash with her co-stars.

In recent weeks, rumours have abounded that various panelists of the hit ITV lunchtime week day talk show don’t see eye to eye – with reports suggesting Nadia Sawalha, Stacey Solomon and Carol McGiffin all refuse to work with Coleen Nolan.

Coleen herself has blasted the reports – branding them unsure, while some of her Loose Women co-stars have broken ranks to defend her.

Former The Saturdays singer Frankie, has appeared on Loose Women since 2010 – becoming a full-time member of the rotating list of panelists on the show in 2021 – and says she’s never witnessed such fall outs herself.

The 33-year-old mum-of-two told Fabulous magazine: “My friends asked me about [the rumoured rows].

“I genuinely don’t experience it or see it. When I first went on the show, I was nervous because I’ve read about all these feuds.

"I think it’s sad that this doesn’t happen on something like [Sky comedy show] A League Of Their Own with a group of men. It’s just not mentioned.

“And coming from a girl band, it’s exactly the same thing. Everyone always wants women to fight and it’s a real shame that it undoes all the good that Loose Women does.

"While we laugh and talk about silly subjects, we also talk about really important subjects.”

She went on to insist she had a great working relationship with all the other women on the show.

She said: “I get on [with everyone]. There’s not one person that I would say: ‘Don’t put me on with them.’ Even during a heated debate on the show, during the break everyone’s fine. So I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve just never experienced it. I get on really well with Coleen.”

Earlier this month, eyebrows were raised when the Mail on Sunday reported that some Loose Women stars had fallen out with 56-year-old Coleen because of a tweet sent by her agent, Melanie Blake, dating from 2020 where Melanie branded 57-year-old Nadia a ‘nasty witch’.

Reports raged that this tweet had acted as a catalyst to provoke all out war between the Loose Women co-stars – but Coleen promptly took action herself to shoot down the speculation.

Talking to OK! Magazine, Coleen said: "Oh it really hurt. The girls have been so supportive – besides, none of us on Loose Women have ever said we wouldn’t work with anyone else. It was just so upsetting."
While she has also told fans she is taking legal action against the Mail on Sunday over their allegedly “untrue” report.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Loose Women also backed up Coleen, telling the Mirror at the time: “This story is untrue. Panellists are chosen for each show by the Loose Women Editor and senior production team, not the panellists themselves."
