In 1947, Frank Sinatra spent $150,000 to build a Palm Springs home that would become closely linked to his Hollywood life. Called Twin Palms after the two palm trees on its property, the striking residence replaced Sinatra’s original idea for a grand Georgian mansion and instead embraced the modernist architecture that would help define Palm Springs.

Decades later, the house was designated a Class 1 Historic Site, preserving both its architectural legacy and its connection to one of America’s most famous entertainers.
