Frank Lampard’s Coventry sign goalkeeper Carl Rushworth for club-record transfer fee

• Coventry City have completed the permanent signing of goalkeeper Carl Rushworth from Brighton & Hove Albion.
• Rushworth, 25, spent last season on loan at Coventry, and played in all 46 Championship games as Frank Lampard’s team won the title to secure promotion back to the Premier League .
• It is understood that Rushworth’s permanent transfer has cost Coventry £22 million, a record fee for the newly promoted club.
• Upon completing his permanent move, Rushworth said: "I'm really happy, there's so many emotions that I've got. There's excitement, I can finally relax knowing it's done and that I'm back with the boys and at a club I loved being at."
• Rushworth is set to make his Premier League debut for Coventry when they travel to champions Arsenal for their first game of the season on 21 August.
