Frank Lampard declines to shed light on Anthony Gordon Everton decision amid transfer links
Frank Lampard refused to shed any light on why Anthony Gordon failed to feature for Everton against West Ham United on Saturday.
The Blues were beaten 2-0 at the London Stadium, but Gordon failed to make it off the bench against David Moyes’ side. Jarrod Bowen scored twice for the hosts.

Both of Bowen’s goals came in the first-half and that prompted Lampard to freshen things up at the break. Seamus Coleman and Vitalii Mykolenko made way for Tom Davies and Dwight McNeil.

Alex Iwobi lifts lid on Frank Lampard message amid challenge to Everton team-mates
Alex Iwobi believes Everton’s players are fighting for Frank Lampard and has called on his side to use their upcoming break to regroup in a bid to turn their season around.
Everton’s poor run of form continued on Saturday afternoon as they were beaten by West Ham United. Two first-half goals from Jarrod Bowen handed his side a 2-0 win at the London Stadium.
The Blues remain level on points with bottom-placed Southampton, who beat Everton last week, and have not won a game since October. Everton have also lost six of their past seven Premier League games.
