With speculation that Frank Lampard is the favourite to succeed Rafa Benitez as Everton boss mounting, the former Chelsea midfielder is already being touted to make Dele Alli his first signing for the Toffees.
The 25-year-old has become something of a forgotten man at Tottenham, and it is thought Antonio Conte has given the attacking midfielder the green light to move elsewhere before the window closes next Monday.
Alli, who has been linked with a January move to Goodison Park, has a long-time admirer in Lampard, with the ex-Derby boss once describing the England international as being “ahead of the game” in terms of his natural ability.
