Frank Lampard gives Neal Maupay squad update as second big Everton decision looms

Frank Lampard Neal Maupay Everton Mason Holgate Leeds United EPL Brentford

Neal Maupay is expected to be part of Everton's matchday squad for the game against Leeds United.

The 26-year-old trained at Finch Farm on Saturday while the first team drew at Brentford. He had not played for Brighton and Hove Albion this season before sealing his move to the Blues on Friday. Frank Lampard said this would not prevent him from being the squad on Tuesday, with Maupay given the chance to further settle in at the club at a training session with a selection of players on Sunday.

Maupay has 26 goals in 102 Premier League fixtures and arrives on Merseyside with striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin still absent, though nearing a return, from his knee injury.
