Frank Lampard believes Everton can bring in more new faces and said work to improve the squad's attacking threat was ongoing.
Speaking after the defeat to Aston Villa, the Blues boss was asked whether the club could secure new signings and get them settled in quickly. Lampard appeared confident in the club's ability to continue to act in the transfer window - though stressed patience was needed when it came to integrating them into the squad.
He said Everton were unable to take significant action before July for "different reasons", though five new players have since arrived at Goodison Park. More signings may be required after a spate of injuries blighted the start of the campaign - including to striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. On the matter of attacking options, he said: "That is something we are looking at to improve."
