“Shut up for a minute!” bellowed Franco Pardini at me, the owner of Franco’s at Thorpe Park in Leeds, who then went back to squabbling with waiters over the price of my bill.
I had attempted to politely tell him how I’d been overcharged on my order and this had come while the food was running about 20 minutes late.
This had resulted in a lot of drama in the pizzeria in Park Approach by The Springs shopping centre. There was nothing I could do to make it better, I’d just been rudely silenced.
