The UK Foreign Office has issued a warning to anyone travelling to France.
On Friday, December 16, the government department updated its guidance for anyone travelling to the European nation amid planned industrial action in both France and the UK in December and January. Travellers are being warned of "delays or changes to scheduled travel", within France and to/from the UK.
It added: "Please consult your travel operator for the latest updates."

While Eurostar is not affected by the Border Force walkout, the RMT union has announced strikes on December 22 and 23 for its members who are employed as security staff by private contractor Mitie at London St Pancras International. The union said the strikes will "severely affect" cross-Channel train services.
Eurostar trains will also be cancelled on Boxing Day (December 26), because although none of its staff will walk out that day, RMT strike action means its trains will be unable to run.
Similarly, train strikes are due to take place in France from now until December 19. Some Air France workers will walk out between December 22 and January 2, 2023, while Corsair and Air Antilles staff are due to strike between December 16 and December 22.
Unions representing Air France cabin crew issued a strike notice after talks with management fail to reach an agreement. The SNGAF and Unac unions said "nothing has changed for three weeks".
