France sells Rafale jets to Indonesia in a bid to strengthen SE Asia ties

"The choice Indonesia is making is one of sovereignty and technical excellence," French Defence Minister Florence Parly said after Indonesia signed a deal on Thursday to buy six Rafale warplanes as part of an anticipated total order of 42.
