France holidays are back on the cards for all UK holidaymakers, after the country has lifted a months-long ban on unvaccinated travellers.
Up until now, the holiday hotspot had only been open to UK travellers for holidays if they were fully vaccinated against Covid, with no need to test or quarantine on arrival. Meanwhile, unvaccinated Brits needed an essential reason to visit.
Under the new rules, travellers who are not fully jabbed can now once again visit France for non-essential reasons such as holidays, with no quarantine requirements. However, they will be required to show proof of a negative Covid test result; this can be either a PCR taken within 72 hours before departure, or an antigen test taken within 48 hours.
