Fleurance (France) (AFP) – France's government was on Friday assessing possible judicial failings, after allegations that investigators could have prevented a 11-year-old girl's disappearance by better dealing with previous sexual abuse complaints.
A girl who has been named in the press only as Lyhanna went missing 29 May near the southwestern village of Fleurance after she was last seen getting into a man's car.
