France And Belgium Support ICC's Arrest Warrants For Israel And Hamas

France and Belgium have expressed their support for the International Criminal Court's request for arrest warrants for leaders of Israel and Hamas. The ICC's chief prosecutor accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and three Hamas leaders of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip and Israel. While no imminent arrests are expected, the announcement has further isolated Israel over the conflict in Gaza.

Israeli Forces Raid Militant Stronghold in West Bank, Killing Seven

Sri Lanka has declared a national day of mourning following the tragic death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. Raisi, who visited Sri Lanka earlier this year for a project inauguration, was killed in a helicopter crash along with the Iranian Foreign Minister. The hydropower and irrigation project they inaugurated faced delays due to sanctions and technical issues.
