Gianni Buttice (@giannibuttice) is back with his latest set of FPL gameweek 15 tips. This week, he focuses on three differentials for the weekend and beyond.
To steal a march on your mini league rivals a differential or two is always very welcome and sees much
bigger gains if and when they return. These are my top three differentials for the festive run:
FPL Gameweek 15 Tips: Three Differentials Picks Under 10% Ownership
Amad Diallo – £5M – Manchester United
Amad Diallo costs only £5 million and is under 6% owned. Under Ruben Amorim, he has become a key cog in the
Manchester United attack playing as the right wing back in a 3-4-3 formation.
Whilst wing back doesn’t sound like the best position for an FPL midfielder, his average position is often very advanced. Diallo is regularly the third or fourth most advanced attacker for United which has seen him produce four assists in his last three league appearances.
Last time out, he was Amorim’s first option off the bench as he was rested for the visit to Arsenal. But boy
was he missed as the Red Devils lacked his exciting wing play and produced very few chances.
Diallo faces Nottingham Forest at home next, the Manchester derby after that and then good fixtures versus
Bournemouth, Wolves and Newcastle.
Jurrien Timber – £5.6M – Arsenal
Jurrien Timber is playing his best football in an Arsenal shirt and is currently deputising for Ben White at
right back and flourishing. With White out injured, Timber starts feel guaranteed and he’s become a 90
minute man and an affordable route to the Gunners defence.
Cheaper than the centre backs at £5.6 million and only 3.1% owned, Timber offers exceptional value. He scored a goal last time out in the Premier League and earned an assist in his last Champions League match.
Even without the attacking threat the Dutchman offers, he will be a steady source of 6 pointers and is a great buy to strengthen your back line.
Arsenal have two clean sheets in the last three fixtures and with Fulham, Everton, Crystal Palace, Ipswich
and Brentford up next, it’s fair to expect many more.
Arsenal only leave London once for an away trip to Brighton in their next 12 matches in all competitions and less travel in this busy time of year for footballers will surely benefit Arsenal’s performances on the pitch.
Anthony Gordon – £7.2m – Newcastle
Anthony Gordon is playing his best football of the season and has a goal and an assist in his last two appearances for Newcastle. He costs £7.2 million and it is still under 10% owned despite having some favourable fixtures coming up.
A trip to Brentford in Gameweek 15 won’t be easy, but then he plays Leicester and Ipswich, which are two high ceiling games for the winger.
Last time out against Liverpool, Newcastle impressed scoring three goals against the best defence in the league and Gordon alongside Alexander Isak are a formidable duo.
