People who pay for glutathione shots or IV drips have another recall to check. Greenwich Rx, a compounding pharmacy in Tomball, Texas, is recalling 10 lots of its glutathione injection because the vials may contain elevated levels of endotoxin, according to the company's recall notice posted by the FDA on Oct. 1, 2026.
The company said it received two reports of patients who needed emergency department care after the glutathione was given intravenously. The product, sold in 10 mL multidose vials at 200 mg/mL, was intended for subcutaneous injection, meaning under the skin, not into a vein. It was distributed nationwide between June 26 and Sept. 21, 2026.
