A fourth man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Sam Rimmer.
22-year-old Mr Rimmer, from Bootle, was shot dead in Dingle on August 16. He had been with a group of friends on Lavrock Bank, at around 11.40pm when he was approached by two electric bikes.
The bikes' riders drove into the cul-de-sac and unleased a hail of bullets towards the group hitting Mr Rimmer a number of times. He was rushed to hospital but despite the best efforts of emergency staff he was pronounced dead.
