You're probably as surprised as I am to see that Mason Mount has been linked with a move away from Chelsea. The 23-year-old, who has been at the Blues since signing as an under-nine, has been central to the west London side's success since breaking through under Frank Lampard.
The Cobham graduate has already made 150 appearances for his childhood side and typifies everything that it means to be a Chelsea player. Mount's dazzling displays for club and country have caught the eye, so much so that Xavi has courted interest in the midfielder, according to reports.
According to French news outlet Footmercato, Barcelona are interested in signing Mount this summer. The report adds that the Spanish giants are also after former Timo Werner teammate and RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku.
