The Booms have been sounding off as of late for the Ohio State football program. There were a couple of verbals resulting from the annual spring game, and we now have another one.
This commitment comes from four-star offensive lineman Austin Siereveld, who announced his decision on social media Wednesday. At 6-foot, 5-inches, and 315-pounds out of Lakota East high school in Middletown, Ohio, Siereveld is ranked as the No. 20 interior offensive lineman and 351st overall prospect in the 2023 cycle according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
But don’t let the less than spectacular ranking fool you. Siereveld had a lot of top programs putting the full-court press on him. He chose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Notre Dame, and others.

Siereveld’s commitment brings the total verbal commitments in the 2023 class to an even ten and keeps the momentum building towards what could be another top five to top ten class.
