Four people have been rushed to hospital following a terrifying crash in South Ayrshire which left two vehicles wrecked.
Horror images have emerged from the scene of the crash on the A77 south of Ballantrae at around 5.05pm yesterday.
Police say a 24-year-old man was driving a white Toyota Yaris when the vehicle was involved in a crash with a blue Volvo V90, which was being driven by a 58-year-old woman.
