Video shows man 'defecating in lake' at Rishi Sunak's constituency home as four arrested

A video has been released by protest group Youth Demand that appears to show a young man entering the Prime Minister’s constituency property and defecating in a lake.

The group said the action was a “parting gift” for the Prime Minister and the Conservative Government.

It came as North Yorkshire Police said four men have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass at the Prime Minister’s constituency home in Kirby Sigston.

The force said in a statement on Tuesday: “We have arrested four people in the grounds of the Prime Minister’s constituency home this afternoon.

“Our officers were with the four men within one minute of them entering the grounds.

“They were detained at around 12.40pm before being escorted off the property and arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass.

“The men aged 52 from London, 43 from Bolton, 21 from Manchester, and 20 from Chichester, remain in police custody for questioning and enquiries are ongoing.”

Activist group Youth Demand have posted a video of what appears to be the arrests on X, formerly Twitter.

The group wrote: “Despite showing no initial intent to arrest, 4 people, including a Press photographer have been detained.”

Youth Demand describes itself a new “resistance campaign fighting for an end to genocide”.

In April, three members of the group were arrested while protesting outside Keir Starmer’s Kentish Town home, and later charged with public order offences.
