Four Israeli soldiers have tragically lost their lives in combat in southern Lebanon, as confirmed by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in a statement released on Sunday. This brings the total number of Israeli troops who have died inside Lebanon since October 1 to 31, following Israel's ground offensive against the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah.
The IDF reported that the four individuals who were confirmed dead on Sunday all belonged to the same brigade. Among them were a platoon commander, a deputy commander, a military rabbi, and a soldier, highlighting the diverse roles and responsibilities carried out by the fallen soldiers.
