Los Angeles police have made significant progress in the investigation of the fatal shooting of former “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor. Four suspects, aged between 18 and 22, have been arrested in connection with the incident. The suspects, hailing from Huntington Park, Inglewood, and other cities in LA county, were apprehended following the execution of search warrants early Thursday morning. Three of the suspects have been booked on murder charges, while the fourth has been charged as an accessory.

The arrests come after Wactor was tragically shot and killed while attempting to thwart thieves stealing the catalytic converter from his car on the morning of May 25. The 37-year-old actor had just left work at a rooftop bar with a coworker when he encountered the perpetrators. Without provocation, one of the individuals fired at Wactor, resulting in his untimely death. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, leaving Wactor critically injured. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest, as determined by the county medical examiner.

Following the incident, LAPD had sought the public's assistance in identifying the suspects, releasing surveillance images of the individuals and their getaway car. The arrests were made possible through the diligent efforts of law enforcement officers, who also recovered additional evidence during the operation. However, specific details regarding the arrests and the evidence have not been disclosed to the public.
