Authorities have arrested and charged four individuals in connection with the disappearance of two women, Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley, who went missing last month while travelling through rural Oklahoma. The Texas County Sheriff’s Department issued an 'endangered missing advisory' for the two women after they failed to reach their intended destination to pick up children.
The suspects, identified as 43-year-old Tad Bert Cullum, 54-year-old Tifany Machel Adams, 50-year-old Cole Earl Twombly, and 44-year-old Cora Twombly, were apprehended in Texas and Cimarron counties. They have been booked into the Texas County Jail on charges including First-Degree Murder, Kidnapping, and Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the First Degree.
The vehicle the missing women were driving was discovered abandoned near Highway 95, south of the Kansas and Oklahoma border in rural Texas County. Upon investigation, authorities found evidence of foul play in the vehicle, leading to the arrest of the four suspects.
As of now, Oklahoma court records do not reflect any charges filed against the accused individuals, and their names are not listed in the state’s inmate database. It remains unclear whether they have legal representation or have appeared in court for an initial hearing.
