Four Ange Postecoglou words are what Tottenham want to hear amid Daniel Levy decision

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is now the frontrunner to become the next permanent Tottenham boss. The Australian has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time after impressing in Scotland.

Daniel Levy remains on the lookout for Antonio Conte's replacement after failing to convince Julian Nagelsmann and Arne Slot to move to north London.

Celtic's season is not over yet, with them taking on Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday. Postecoglou is on course to complete a treble, following on from last season's league and cup double.

"Somebody else was the favourite last week, weren't they? So no, it doesn't register," Postecoglou said on the speculation linking him with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. "But we've worked really really hard to get ourselves in this position and for me to let my mind wander about anything else other than getting our team prepared for a big day on Saturday, it's just not who I am."

While Postecoglou may not be supporters' first-choice, the Australian has proved his pedigree in football management in Scotland and Japan. Avideo doing the rounds on social media will be music to the ears of Spurs fans.

The three-second clip shows Postecoglou screaming at his players during a 4-0 home win over Raith Rovers. In the pouring rain, the manager shouts "Stop passing it back!"

After a few years of counter-attacking football in north London, Postecoglou could implement a completely different style of football. According to Transfermarkt, Celtic have averaged 73.6% possession this season - compared to Spurs' 49.5% and Postecoglou has attracted admirers for his side's superb brand of attacking football.
