Forty-one-year-old YouTuber 'Dad' lands record-breaking 22-second KO in boxing debut

YouTube star Nathan Barnatt, better known by his alias 'Dad', landed a stunning 22-second finish to open last night's Creator Clash fight card in Florida.

Eighteen social media stars, including iDubbbz and Harley Morenstein, swapped their video cameras for boxing gloves at the Yuengling Center in aid of a number of charities. And when Barnatt squared off with Matt Watson of comedy duo 'SuperMega', he got the card off to an unforgettable start with a vicious first-round stoppage.

The pair were separated by 15 years in age and two pounds on the scales, as well as an evident chasm in boxing ability. Barnatt dove into his training for the bout, and was able to quickly take complete control of the ring early over the clearly inexperienced Watson.

Fans almost tore the roof off for Watson's ring walk, the first of the main card, but they were left stunned as he was unable to land a punch on 'Dad'. Instead, the elder fighter landed a quick barrage of punches that saw the fight called off within the first 22 seconds of the first round.

"These guys Mike and Josh, my two coaches, trained me really well," Barnatt told Mirror Fighting after the fight. "I tried to tell him that I was really going hard, training non-stop every day for six months. "I don't think he really knew and he wasn't really going as hard as me. I came and destroyed, that was the plan. I will literally fight anyone if we can make the same weight."

The fight broke a record previously set by Slim Albaher with his 43-second stoppage of N&A Productions in Dubai last year. Albaher had totally dominated his opponent at the inaugural Social Knockout event to go 2-0 as a YouTube boxer.

But Barnatt was unfazed by a potential bout with the Brooklyn native, instead calling out platinum-recording artist Oliver Tree among a host of other names.

"Nexpo, you know what you did," he declared, calling out his fellow social media star. "Oliver Tree, you know what you did, MatPat, you know what you did and Sive; Pewdiepie's editor, he knows me well and he knows what he did. Im coming for all of you, Dad can't be stopped."
