"Fortnite" dropped a surprise teaser for one of the crossovers coming to the game, and it is none other than with one of 2026's highly anticipated films, "The Odyssey," from the legendary director Christopher Nolan.
A leak on the upcoming "Fortnite" x "The Odyssey" crossover also shows that there will be two skins coming to the game.
'Fortnite' x 'The Odyssey' Movie Collaboration Teased
Epic Games shared a short cinematic clip on its official X account showing Odysseus walking through a massive hallway lined with towering statues, captioned with the line "some say each game is an epic journey of its own."
The teaser confirms that "The Odyssey" would be joining "Fortnite" just ahead of the film's theatrical release.
The crossover's teaser shows some scenes in the movie, as well as notable happenings in Homer's "The Odyssey" epic like marching into Polyphemus' cave and escaping to the sea to continue their voyage. However, the trailer also shows a Trojan Horse scene, but instead of the horse, the clip showed a reindeer being delivered to Troy's gates.
This is not Nolan's first crossover with Epic Games as the director previously debuted the "Tenet" trailer inside "Fortnite's" Party Royale island.
It is also known that the game hosted in-universe screenings of "Batman Begins," "The Prestige," and "Inception" during a Movie Night event back in 2020, making this latest partnership a continuation of that relationship.

Odysseus, Agamemnon Skins Coming
Leaker ShiinaBR shared two "The Odyssey" skins coming to the game, saying that Odysseus and Agamemnon are set to arrive together in "Fortnite."
Odysseus is designed to reflect Matt Damon's portrayal of the character from Nolan's film, while Agamemnon reflects Benny Safdie's role in the same movie.
Rumors also point to a possible future addition of Penelope, played by Anne Hathaway in the film, though Epic has not confirmed that skin yet.
Top finishers in Fortnite's tournament will also receive Odysseus-themed cosmetics beyond the outfit itself, including the Xiphos pickaxe and Bow of Iphytus back bling, giving high-ranking players a more complete set tied to the character.

How to Get Odysseus For Free?
According to IGN, players hoping to snag the Odysseus skin without spending V-Bucks can compete in the Odyssey Cup, running as a solo event across Battle Royale and Zero Build on July 15 and 16, with a separate Reload mode variant available for mobile players.
Placement requirements vary by region, with top finishers in each region earning the full skin bundle, while lower placements can still net smaller rewards like a loading screen or spray.
Anyone who misses the cutoff or does not place high enough will still be able to purchase the Odysseus skin directly from the Item Shop starting July 17 at 8 p.m. ET, timed to coincide with "The Odyssey's" theatrical release the same day.
The collaboration adds to what has already been a packed crossover season for "Fortnite," running alongside its ongoing DC summer event featuring Batman and other characters.
