Fortnite update 23.20 patch notes
The Falcon Scout: remotely-controlled 'caw' machine
Fortnite update 23.20 is introducing the brand new Falcon Scout item, which can be deployed to mark opponents, open containers and even pick up loot! But you'll have to careful when using it as your POV will shift to behind the drone, leaving you completely vulnerable. Squad up or find a hiding place if you're running solo before you take it to the skies.
The Falcon Scout isn't impervious to attacks either but you can watch its health bar to keep an eye on its durability. It also has a max range which you can also monitor using the distance bar. So long as it's in good shape and within the max distance, there's no limit on how many times you can use the same drone in a match.
You can find Falcon Scouts in regular chests, Oathbound chests, supply drops, and just lying around on the ground.
New Reality Augments
There are five new Reality Augments dropping in Fortnite update 23.20, which can be activated immediately.
- Peely's Plunder: Receive a treasure map that will lead you to buried treasure.
- Shotgun Striker: Your shotgun fire will give you siphon upon hitting opponents.
- Rarity Check: Get siphon upon eliminations with common and uncommon weapons.
- Zero Chance: Temporarily gain the Zero Point dash ability each time you break an enemy's shield.
