Fortnitemares 2022 rolls on with new challenges, many of which are dropped without context and refuse to explain themselves. One such challenge is the new one surrounding jack-o’-lanterns, which you may not even have noticed were in the game before this point, save for the Pumpkin Launcher. This challenge asks you to destroy five jack-o’-lanterns with a ranged weapon, so we’ll tell you where to find them.

Fortnite jack-o’-lantern locations
Jack-o’-lanterns are dotted all over the map, mostly at named locations. According to Fortnite.gg, here is where you can find all of them:
- Willow’s Haunt, northwest of the Reality Tree (1)
- Scratch Pad, west of the Reality Tree (1)
- South of Flutter Barn (1)
- East of Chonker’s Speedway (1)
- The south tip of the island under Chonker’s Speedway (1)
- The house north of Chonker’s Speedway (1)
- Southeast of Fort Jonesy (2)
- Houses at Fort Jonesy (4)
- Houses at Greasy Grove (4)
- Houses on the eastern islands of Herald’s Sanctum (3)
- Houses around Lustrous Lagoon (3)
- Houses on the east side of Shiny Sound (2)
- House with a maze northwest of Shiny Sound (1)
Once you’ve spotted one of them, just shoot it with any ranged weapon to make progress in the quest. You don’t have to get all five in the same match, so don’t worry if other people beat you to them.
