The leader of a charity supporting thousands of people with visual and hearing impairments in Forth Valley has been awarded an MBE for her dedicated service during the Covid pandemic.
Jacquie Winning, chief executive of Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC), was honoured for the centre’s services to people with sensory loss during the coronavirus response.
She was initially named in the Queen’s 2021 New Year Honours List, but only received the award last week due to delays caused by pandemic restrictions.
