A former employee at a top candle brand has revealed a little-known in-store policy that could save customers a tidy sum.
Taking to her TikTok account, @ashlester, Ashley Lester claims savvy shoppers can get an 'entirely brand new candle for free' from leading brand Yankee Candle.
In what may come as a surprise to most, Ashley has told fans that Yankee Candle has a 'jar for a jar' policy - meaning you can return an item to the store and ask for another even if you've burnt the candle nearly down to the wick. But she does caveat her advice by explaining that punters will need to say something along the lines of 'I didn't like the smell'.
