Madeleine Westerhout, the former personal assistant to President Donald Trump, is opening up about her time working in the White House in her new book titled Off the Record: My Dream Job at the White House, How I Lost It, and What I Learned.
During a recent interview, Westerhout expressed her desire to share her experiences with the American people, particularly shedding light on the man she came to know while working closely with him. She became emotional as she discussed her motivation for writing the book, stating, 'I thought it was real important to share with the American people the man that I got to know. I don’t think he’s treated fairly and I wanted to tell that story.'
