Felice Herrig has made a fortune selling used socks for $150 and pictures of her feet on subscription site OnlyFans.
The former UFC star recently elected to hang up her gloves after being submitted in the second round of her bout with Karolina Kowalkiewicz last month. She was clearly struggling to replicate the form of the early stages in her UFC career and opted not to try and have another go at ending her losing streak, which stood at four fights.
Herrig stated her desire to remain involved with MMA and was looking for a stable source of income to help her compete in the sport at her own enjoyment. She has since revealed her astronomic earnings after having knee surgery, which limited her income. "[OnlyFans] has made a huge difference," Herrig told TMZ when discussing her future plans. "After my first knee surgery, I wouldn't say I was broke but I had no money coming in.
"People don't realise, you're locked into this contract that you can't get out of, but you're not being paid to be in it. I've always had people who are obsessed with my feet. I'd just bought a house and was dipping into my money, but I thought people really love my feet so maybe I'll start an OnlyFans. If you like feet, I'm your girl! I sell my socks. They want them used or dirty. The more days I wear them the more they'll have to pay for them. [A used pair of socks] cost $150."
Herrig has spent almost two decades fighting in MMA and has shared the cage with the likes of Paige VanZant and Alexa Grasso. She has since signed with bare-knuckle boxing promotion BFFC, which will allow her flexibility to continue to earn her small fortune on the side of her fighting career.

The American star - whose MMA record is 14-10 - has always stated her real passion is to compete in the boxing ring despite having success in the UFC. And she has now claimed that she only signed for the UFC after watching Ultimate Fighter during her time on reality TV. "I only got into MMA because at the time I had watched, you know, the very first Ultimate Fighter," Herrig said when explaining her career to MMA Junkie.
"I was in the reality show Fight Girls. Gina Carano, you know, was my coach on there, was training with like Randy Couture, so I saw that every thing was going towards MMA, which is why I got into MMA. But I never loved MMA."
